How does Fund My Dental Work?
3 Easy Steps:
Can you give me sample of how it works?
Scenario 1: Your dentist tells you that you need 3 fillings which will cost $736. Bummer!
Scenario 2: Your dentist tells you that you need a root canal treatment and a crown costing $2480.
You have health insurance that covers you $721 which will leave a gap payment of $1759.
Just $79 this week and each week successive week until your balance is paid off with no hidden costs! Simple!
This sounds amazing! How can I apply?
What information do I need to share?
Just your legal name, date of birth and residential address.
Can I still use my health insurance?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it. If you’re using your health insurance, only the outstanding gap payment will go towards your Fund My Dental payment plan, i.e. You get a crown for $1600 and your private health insurance covers $700, leaving a gap of $900. Add this to your Fund My Dental Payment plan to get the $900 balance paid off in $39 weekly payments (if you’re on the $39 plan).
How long does it take for approval?
It’s instant. We’ll send you an email confirming that we will pay your dentist straight away.
What are the limits of my payment plan?
You have two choices. Either up to $1000 on the $39/week plan or up to $2000 on the $79/week plan to be used within 6 months.
When can I get my treatment?
As soon as you are approved, you can get your treatment done under Fund My Dentist. We will pay for your treatment up to your limit for the next 6 months.
What are the fees?
We will never charge you interest. Ever!
For the $39 a week payment plan, we will just direct debit a maximum* of $39 a week from your credit card or bank account after your first appointment. As part of these direct debits there is a one-off establishment fee of $39 and a $2 weekly account service fee whilst you have an outstanding balance.
For the $79 a week payment plan, we will just direct debit a maximum* of $79 a week from your credit card or bank account after you have had your first appointment. As part of these direct debits there is a one-off establishment fee of $79 and a $2 weekly account service fee whilst you have an outstanding balance.
*If you are late or miss a payment, there may be an additional charge of $29.

Sorry to hear that. We encourage you to talk with your dentist to try and come up with a solution, but if you are unable to resolve the complaint, please contact us and we may be able to guide you to other formal channels for you to register your complaint.
What are your office hours?
We’re open 9am – 5pm AWST Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays).
What should I do if I have a complaint about Fund My Dental?
We are proud of our customer service culture and make every effort to ensure that our customers are satisfied with the service they receive. However, should our customers feel that our service is not what it should be, we want to hear about it and resolve any issues.

What happens if I am still unhappy with the outcome? If we fail to reach an agreement after you have lodged the complaints and provided us with time to respond, what’s next?
You can refer certain matters to the Credit and Investments Ombudsman (CIO), who can investigate and resolve disputes of up to $250,000. This service is free to you. You can lodge your complaint by phone, fax or mail. Credit Ombudsman Service Limited
